So tommorrow the world ends? Really?
So where did this prediction come from that the world would be ending May 21, 2011? And why are so many people following after this preacher?
It was back in 1994 when this engineer/preacher made his first prediction that the world was coming to an end. Could someone please tell me why are we still here? You would think after his first prediction, "that didn't manifest" Harold Camping would put an end to his publicity stunts, "NOT"!
Just recently Harold Camping (preacher/engineer) made his second prediction that the world would be coming to an end May 21, 2011.
The bible tells us in Matthew 24:36 that "no man knows the day or hour when Jesus shall part the sky to return for the believers of the church" (paraphrasing). For this one scripture along I'm not even sure why a follower of Christ would make such claims.
In continuing, II Timothy 2:15 tells us to study to show ourselves approved... Why did God even give us this command?
Because he knew that false phrophecies would arise and that there would be some lost soul out there about to exhaust their funds thinking on May 21, 2011 the world end. "Not!"
This is far from a joke to me. And it goes to show that God words are not void.
Looking at today society, there is only one thing clear to me and that is, there is still a spiritual and flesh battle going on out there. And satan is out to steal, kill and destroy every living creature that he can.
I'm certain that we are closer to the world ending than we were 2000+ year ago "Clearly!"
But until the rapture I'm determined to keep on my full-armour of God Ephesians 6:13
For those believing this latest prophecy do me a favor and transfer you funds to my accout. You want need them right?
Sincerly

Have public housing become a place to provide safe, quality and affordable housing for local citizens who are trying to start or rebuild their lives. Or have these properties become a host for violence, thugs, prostitution and goverment fraud?
Government subsidized housing (also known as "Public Housing") begin in 1938. Since the beginning of these governmental funded programs through public housing, thousands of families have received living assistance.
While many families have applied for these programs as a mean of survival to continue their education while working or to use public housing as a crutch to get on their feet; have others used these programs as a joke?
Driving through one of the local neighborhoods in town I couldn't help but to notice one of the public housing properties. With every negative persona you could think of from sagging pants, loud music coming from cars, $4000.00 car rims on $800.00 cars, gold teeth, low hanging chains (necklace), unattended babies with no shirt or shoes on their feet, loud talking women, windows open in apartment complex with curtain blowing outward, overflowing trash bins, busted beer bottles in the parking lots, community play ground with no equipment, legal age men walking around with pajama's on in the afternoon and an old ladies on a hoover-rounds.
I quickly began to think to myself where went the quality and the safe haven of that community? After driving by I was only certain of one thing and that was "they were affordable." Have the government dropped the ball on ensuring these properties are well kept or does the down fall of these properties fall on the back to the citizens?
